SUMMER SUPPER

The SPARC Summer Supper will be held on July 19, 2014, at The Junction Restaurant at 6 pm.  The Junction is located off of Heron Traffic Circle in Spartanburg, SC.  The address is 150 Simuel Road.  In addition to spending time with friends on Saturday evening we will be celebrating Fritz, W4NTO's 95th birthday. So make your plans now to join us for food, fun and fellowship on Saturday night.  Fritz might even share the story of his kiss from last year's summer supper!

FIELD DAY 2014

The 2014 Spartanburg Amateur Radio Club Field Day event will be held at the Roebuck Masonic Lodge, 4001 S. Church Street Extension, Roebuck, SC.  Antenna setup will take place June 27, 2014, at 10:00 am.  Field day operations will start at 2:00 pm  on June 28 and will end at 2:00 pm on June 29.  This year we will have 3 stations on the air, 2 using the K4II call, one for phone and one for CW.  These 2 stations will count for points.  The third station will be a get on the air station under the K4JLA call and will not count towards points.  Don't miss this great event, 24 hours of fun, fellowship and DX.
