Welcome to the new blog for Spartanburg Amateur Radio Club. While working on the newsletter for the club we realized that it would be nice to have a way to communicate with club members in a more consistent way that would allow us to get important events and news out to members quickly. FD 2012



Field Day is June 23rd and 24th.  We will be at Barnett Park, downtown Spartanburg, under the pavillion.  Antenna setup will commence at 8am Saturday.  If you are able to help with set up, please come on down!  We will have two stations, one SSB and one CW.  Operations begin at 2 PM on Saturday and will continue through the night into Sunday.  Parking is available nearby.  Government parking spaces are OK to use on the weekends.  The Funeral home and the church are available as long as they are not having services.  More parking info will be available as the event gets closer.  Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the weekend.  On Saturday pizza will be provided @ 6 PM.  Local restaurants are nearby.
